Welcome

Welcome to www.karamandalia.com, the website with news and information about the Kara Mandalia family.

What a week it’s been. With the blessings of Pithdai Maa, Surapura Bapa, Hingraj Maa, Guru Gopal Lal and our ancestors, the Kara Mandalia Trust organised the first gathering of the Kara Mandalia family to take place at the West End Neighborhood Centre, Leicester on Sunday 7 th September 2008 and what an event it was.

The gathering was swiftly followed by the historic launch of the Hadron’s Collider, a scientific experiment to collide protons together at stupendous speeds. The very fact that you are visiting the Kara Mandalia website is evidence of the fact that we were not all swept up into a black hole on Tuesday as some might have predicted.

Whilst scientific experiments might help us understand the beginnings of humanity, in every conceivable manner, the family is a link to our past, and the bridge to our future. The Kara Mandalia family has much to be grateful for and even more to be proud of. There can be no better measure for the success of an event, than the numbers that attended and the smiles on their faces. We thank everyone that contributed to the success of the first Kara Mandalia Gathering and are grateful for the donations that were received. The proceeds of the event shall be used to maintain and develop our ancestral home in Palakhda, India, a place that is common to, and dear to us all.

The Kara Mandalia Trust is now up and running and from the feedback received, it seems that there is a strong desire that the Kara Mandalia Gathering should not be a one off event. Our unity is our strength, and it is clear that the seeds have now been planted for the Kara Mandalia Trust to flourish in the future.
